VML creates bodyshapes from the output from scanners that are used in the process. After the bodyshape has been created, the raw data about your bodyshape is permanently deleted and can never be retrieved by anyone with authorised (or unauthorised) access to the VML Repository of Bodyshapes described below.
All bodyshapes created from the raw data from the scanner is stored in the VML Repository of Bodyshapes under strict security provisions to prevent unauthorised access. VML owns these bodyshapes but hereby undertakes to use them only as specified below.
(1) Creation and storage of the bodyshapes will be carried out by VML without any charge to you. (2) Anyone accessing the VML Repository of Bodyshapes can only retrieve a bodyshape for a virtual clothing session by providing a user name and corresponding password. We recommend your e-mail address as the user name. It is your responsibility to use a password that is not easy to guess and to keep the password safe to ensure that you are the only person able to access your bodyshape. (3) After you call for a bodyshape to be used VML is permitted to create images using your bodyshape during your sessions. These images are close representations of what the garment would look like on you should you purchase them. Similarly VML may use that bodyshape to create the customised pattern pieces that when sewn together make the customised garment for you. (4) VML may utilise bodyshapes of you for statistical purposes but only if you have expressly agree to this. Any permission(s) that you provide can be revoked by you at any time. (5) You can request that any or all of the bodyshapes of you be deleted from the VML Repository of Bodyshapes at any time. Website registration details.
These include personal identification details and email information. This information is used to provide services for purchasing, searching, account history and VML marketing and is private to you and VML administration teams.
We process your credit card details instantly using ePDQ services and only store an incomplete number with nothing other than the last 4 digits which allow you to recognise the cards you used.
A cookie is a very small file that the web server stores in a file on your computer to help us remember more about how best to personalise the site for you. Cookies are required for the website to operate correctly. This information allows us to remember your last visit and log you on for example.
We do not share, sell or distribute any information (including bodyshapes) that we store about our consumers to other companies or individuals. Should it be appropriate, we will release your information to law enforcement agencies when requested.
